I’m the mom of a US Army Cavalry Scout that is currently fighting in Taji, Iraq.  My journey in the Army world has been an active one.  Deciding that sitting here worrying was a waste of time, I began designing Army T-Shirts for my Zazzle shop.  I’m expanding that to include all branches of the military now.  I also started blogging.  Blogging helps you keep your sanity when the world around you gets out of control.

My duties as a Blue Star Mother and Soldiers’ Angel put me in direct contact with some of the most amazing people I’ve ever met!  I have never felt like I “belonged” anywhere so much as I feel that way with my Army family.

In addition to being an Army mom, I’m also mom to two girls (8 and 9) that are competitive gymnasts and passionate patriots.   The girls spend free time (when they aren’t doing schoolwork or farm chores) making things for their brother or other Soldiers that they can send out.
